Warning: This article contains spoilers for Big Brother 26!
Angela Murray has one of the biggest personalities to ever appear on Big Brother, but her daughter just spoke out against the CBS reality show for causing anguish to her mother. Angela was a force right out of the gate when Big Brother season 26 began back in July. Her antics and outlandish behavior sparked allegations that she was a producer plant cast on Big Brother for entertainment purposes only. Angela did well early on when she won Head of Household, for example, but the common consensus has been that she's had no real strategy in the game.
Five Big Brother 26 houseguests have been evicted so far, and Angela is still hanging on in the game. However, her daughter Christine Murray has had a hard time watching the reality show after seeing how her mother has been treated.
Christine admitted she wants Angela back home because her family misses her, adding, "It's so hard to watch her struggle to trust people and their intentions with her." Apparently, Angela wanted her Big Brother experience to be the "summer of her dreams." Unfortunately, it "turned into a nightmare," according to Christine.
Angela Murray Wanted To Break Stereotypes On Big Brother 26
Big Brother Houseguest Is "Second Guessing" Everything Now
After a social media user claimed Angela's behavior never would have gotten out of control if the other Big Brother 26 houseguests had just treated her right, Christine replied and said that her mother would absolutely have become friends with her fellow houseguests "if it weren't for the circumstances of the game," meaning the deception and the manipulation. According to her daughter, Angela signed up for Big Brother knowing full well that the other players would target her based on her age. "She just wanted to break the stereotypes," Christine added, seemingly resigned to the fact that the opposite happened.
While talking about her mother, Christine described Angela as a "people pleaser" in real life, outside the walls of Big Brother. Unfortunately, she's observed that Angela is now "second guessing everything" going on around her. Christine concluded by admitting she hasn't watched much of Big Brother this week because "it just breaks my heart to watch her so upset." Angela is apparently a "kind" and "generous soul" who hasn't been able to truly shine in the way she wanted while on Big Brother.
It's hard to read that Angela's daughter Christine sounds so upset in her social media posts after seeing the way Big Brother season 26 is unfolding week after week. When a reality show contestant performs poorly, is ganged up on or loses, it can't be easy for loved ones to watch their family members in that environment when there's nothing they can do to change the situation. Angela was just chosen as a replacement nominee amid the latest Power Of Veto ceremony, so it's possible her daughter's stress could be eased soon.
Big Brother season 26 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT and Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
