WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT BIG BROTHER 26!The Big Brother 26 week 8 Power of Veto competition has been played, and its winner is Makensy Manbeck. Because the Big Brother 26 A.I. Arena is over, the week 8 Head of Household (HOH) Chelsie Baham only had to nominate two houseguests for eviction instead of three. She chose Angela Murray and Kimo Apaka, but has been going back and forth between the two of them about who her target actually is.
The Big Brother 26 live feeds have revealed that the week 8 Power of Veto competition winner is Makensy. The Power of Veto competition players were HOH Chelsie, nominees Angela and Kimo, and Makensy, Rubina Bernabe, and Quinn Martin. The game was the iconic OTEV competition, but, unfortunately, it ended in one round when Makensy was the only one to get the first question right.
Will Makensy Use The Power Of Veto To Save Either Angela Or Kimo?
Chelsie Keeps Changing Her Plans
It seems as though Makensy won't use the Power of Veto to save Angela or Kimo. After the competition, Makensy, Chelsie, and Cam Sullivan-Brown discussed their plans. Cam pointed out that the reason to evict Kimo is that he'll always have two votes (from Rubina and T'kor Clottey), and that's unbreakable. Chelsie added that next week, the nominees only need three votes to stay. Cam said that Kimo wouldn't even have to campaign because he'd have automatic votes. Makensy decided that they should get rid of Kimo, but thought viewers would be mad because they keep letting Angela skate by.
Makensy has been a lone wolf in Big Brother 26, so it's good for her that she should team up with Chelsie and Cam as they enter the jury phase of the game. It wouldn't make sense for her to use the Power of Veto, especially if Chelsie would rather that she didn't. Chelsie was considering naming Leah Peters or Quinn Martin as the replacement nominee if necessary, but it would make more sense for her to not have to get any more blood on her hands.
Although Makensy is correct and many viewers are ready to see Angela leave the game, it does make more sense for them to evict Kimo this week when they have the votes. He's well-liked and has a strong alliance, so it'll only be harder for them to get him out further down the road. However, Angela is also someone who, as Quinn has feared, could end up in the final two if they aren't careful. It's going to be interesting to see what Makensy's final decision is at the Power of Veto ceremony.
