New images from FBI season 6 highlight the team working hard on a case. Co-created by Law & Order's Dick Wolf and Craig Turk, the procedural drama has been a solid performer for CBS. The original FBI, which debuted in 2018, has led to spinoffs, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted. All three shows will see chances once they return, with Heida Reed recently announced to leave FBI: International after three seasons as Jamie Kellet.
TV Insider reveals new images from FBI season 6, showing the ensemble hard at work. In one photo, actors Missy Peregrym and Zeeko Zaki are all smiles.
FBI season 6 premieres Tuesday, February 13, 2024, on CBS at 8 PM ET. It'll be followed by FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International at 9 ET and 10 ET, respectively.
What To Expect From FBI Season 6
The image gallery above highlights the entire FBI team, including Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym), Special Agent Omar Adom “OA” Zidan (Zeeko Zaki), Special Agent Stuart Scola (John Boyd), Special Agent Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane), Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto), and Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille (Alana De La Garza). There's also Ian Lim, who portrays FBI Technical Analyst James Chen. They'll all be focused on a devastating case, but there will still be some space for personal character development.
In the episode "All the Rage," the FBI team deals with a bus explosion that kills several people. But on a separate front, Scola deals with the reality of being a father. That narrative likely points to an eventful crossover with FBI: Most Wanted season 5, which has welcomed Special Agent Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten).
It's a mix of joy and horror of the case. The previous FBI installment ended with Nina giving birth via C-section after complications that seemed to be life-threatening at one point. The upcoming episodes will offer a follow-up, as the ensemble has to deal with another high-stakes case. It's a dichotomy between new life and loss that could make for an emotional premiere.
