According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Victoria Newman and Cole Howard's once promising romance appears to have withered. Victoria and Cole have been amazing parents to Clare Grace, but there is no spark. The three of them make an excellent family, but Victoria needs someone to rekindle her spark, and Cole isn't it.
Victor Newman doesn't always make the best choices, and Victoria doesn’t always make the best choices in men. Cole has done many of the right things as a partner. Cole is supportive, he listens to Victoria, which is something new for her. He wants Victoria to be her best self and have the bond she never had with her daughter. However, as lovely as that is, it is also extremely uninteresting in terms of soap life. Couples that lack adventure and romance tend to drift apart, and no one wants to see them. Boredom causes sudden death and does not create a memorable marriage in this world.
Victoria's love life needs shaking up. It has been dull since her relationship with Nate Hastings ended months ago. Victoria and Nate were passionate, and their secret rendezvous were at least entertaining to observe. Nate encouraged her in business and kept her life interesting at times. However, they were doomed from the beginning. Victoria requires someone who is available to make these things happen for her and is not committed to another lady. The man must have an edge, which Cole clearly lacks. Perhaps a bad kid like Billy Abbot combined with Nate's enthusiasm would be the ultimate man.
The spoilers hint that Victoria's future could be bright, which would be fantastic. However, witnessing Victoria and Cole reconcile is about as bright as your last coat of bare paint right now. Whatever way you slice it, these two are stuck in their ways as parents and could use some lessons from Victor Newman. Perhaps Victoria needs the polar opposite of her father and could benefit from a reconciliation with Billy or a new guy who irritates Victor as well. It’s much more exciting to see Victoria compete against her father in business and try to figure out his motivations. The show needs to give Victoria a new life and make her more fascinating.
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins Abbott are determined to cut Kyle Abbott and Victor Newman's ties. Their anxiety derives from the potential issues this union may bring. Nonetheless, Jack intends to demonstrate that he can be just as merciless as Victor. The glissade situation might be disastrous for both Kyle and the Abbott family business. Jack is desperate to protect the Abbott heritage and wants to lead Kyle away from hostile areas. He’s prepared to act. Jack intends to launch a strategy to harm Glissade's prospects given its present vulnerabilities. This endeavor should not be too difficult. Jabot remains the dominant power in cosmetics, giving Jack ample potential to cause major harm if he commits to the cause.
Glissade undoubtedly has potential, but Kyle and Andre Charles have yet to take advantage of it. Andre has expressed concerns about Kyle's proclivity to antagonize Jack, who may use Jabot to undermine them before Glissade can truly take flight. This scenario appears plausible as Jack is steadfast in his desire to protect Kyle, even if it means undermining Glissade from the start. The ideal location for Jack to start his plans could be Glissade's approaching launch party. While Audra and Kyle disagree over the event direction, those specifics may become unimportant if Jack chooses to target the celebration.
Naturally, the launch party will provide an excellent opportunity for Glissade to demonstrate its new items and define its vision for the company. However, Jack might easily grab center stage by hosting a more grandiose event that outperforms Glissade’s efforts. With Jabot’s cutting-edge products, it’s likely that Jabot has something remarkable in the works that will outperform anything Glissade presents. If Jack plays his cards correctly, Glissade’s event may end up being a laughing stock with few attendees. He might also ensure that Jabot receives a lot of positive publicity and could even launch a smear campaign to make Glissade look like a complete disaster.
Our forecast suggests that Jack is willing to go to considerable measures to free Kyle from Victor's clutches. Billy Abbott’s impromptu visit with Victor Newman did not prevent him from making a decision about Lily Winters. Lily fires directly into Victor's hands just as predicted. Victor assured Billy that nothing needed to be done to take over Chancellor; instead, he predicted that Billy would lead to the company's failure. Telling Lily that he wants to pay out her full contract expedites Victor's plan to take over Chancellor and install Nikki Newman as its leader.
Billy was taken aback when Victor casually mentioned Jill Abbott's suspected health problem. That’s why Billy was invited to join the discussion at Neil Winter's Jazz Lounge. Viewers recognized that sitting down would be necessary. Billy will undoubtedly mention it when his business collapses on him. He also appears to be heading back to Jabot, where Kyle fled in a rage in order to assault his parents. Billy believes he was able to keep the truth from Victor, or at least withhold information regarding Jill's condition. While not life-threatening, it was severe enough for her to step back from her role as Chancellor Winters and hand over control to Billy. But Jill needed to be contacted before buying Lily out. Her reaction to that corporate mic drop will be memorable.
In addition to being paid well to leave Chancellor, Lily was covertly interviewed to join the new company. Victor's proposal to place Nikki in charge of her late mentor's firm is wise. Victor has a special spot for Lily because of their relationship to Neil. While it was suddenly found that Lily was not Neil's child with Malcolm Winters holding paternity, her connection to Victor through Neil has endured. Lily's remarks about Catherine Chancellor and Jill reassured Nikki that Lily’s character could be trusted. Lily also stated that she would not allow Billy to destroy the company.
Billy reiterates his own shortcomings despite his claims of not making mistakes. He has convinced himself that Lily, the woman Jill had especially chosen to keep him in check, is the problem. It is extremely foolish to dismiss Lily and believe Victor can be silenced with a single chat. The stage is set for Chancellor to face devastating business chatter and ramifications. Victor does not lose very often. He sees Billy as no opposition and has all of the chess pieces in place for a quick win.
