Poppy instructs Finn to go to the flat. Lee was relieved to learn in Finn's office that Finn intended to check on Luna. Finn felt awful for not doing it sooner, given what Luna was going through. Lee reminded him that he was going through a lot himself, but Finn insisted there could be no secrets between him and his wife. Lee encouraged him not to discuss those matters with Luna, who already had enough on her plate. Finn pondered surprising Luna at her apartment after his shift, but Lee indicated that Luna had scarcely been there since moving in with Bill. Finn realized Luna could be anywhere, even at RJ’s, so he texted her before going to see.
Looking at his phone, he was concerned that Stephy hadn’t contacted him yet. He wondered where she might be. Ridge reminded Brooke in Eric's office that just because Stephy needed to get away from Finn didn’t mean she needed to leave work either. Ridge stated that he needed Stephy nearby. Brooke volunteered to assist, but Ridge said that Stephy had a tendency to do such things on occasion and he simply wanted to ensure her well-being. Brooke acknowledged Ridge's concern and offered that Stephy might only need a few days to figure things out. Ridge stated that the true difficulty was not knowing where Stephy was. He went on to say that the incident would not have occurred if Hope had kept her lips sealed around Finn, which had harmed Hope's friendship with Finn and was the reason Stephy had left town.
Brooke assured Ridge that it would only be temporary and that Stephy would return to Finn after she had time to consider things. Ridge was concerned that Stephy had not contacted him. Brooke proceeded to soothe him, stating Stephy simply needed some alone time and would soon return to her husband. Despite her assurances, Ridge was anxious about Stephy's location, but Brooke reminded him that Stephy was capable of taking care of herself. In the jail viewing area, the guard revealed that Poppy had another guest.
Poppy was astonished when Bill arrived. She had no idea what he was thinking, but she insisted on her innocence and implored him to say he believed her. Bill stated that he didn’t know what to trust in the face of such overwhelming evidence. Poppy said she was incapable of murder. Bill and Poppy's conversation moved to paternity tests. Bill stated that Luna was not his daughter and questioned how the first test could have been incorrect. Poppy maintained she had nothing to do with it and claimed her heart had broken for Bill. She said that Luna still loved him.
Poppy requested Bill to look after Luna. Bill flashed back to telling Luna she couldn’t kiss him. He explained to Poppy that Luna was struggling with everything that had transpired. Poppy inquired whether Luna had acted out. He explained that while the shift had been difficult, he would not abandon Luna. As the guard ended the encounter, Poppy told Bill she loved him and asked him not to doubt her innocence. After Bill left, the guard brought in another visitor. Finn expressed concern for his aunt Poppy. Poppy assured him that she would be fine, but Luna concerned her.
Later, Finn questioned Poppy about how the backpack ended up where it was found. Poppy claimed she didn’t know and admitted how strange it was, but she insisted she would never injure somebody only to maintain her lifestyle with Bill. She informed Finn that he knew her better than that. Finn agreed but claimed the evidence against her was compelling. Poppy said that she was being set up. Finn inquired whether there were cameras or proof of her innocence. When she replied there weren’t, she requested him to go to her apartment and look for evidence that could lead to the true culprit.
Luna appeared in Baker's office, which startled the chief, especially considering she was there to indict her mother. Luna, in tears, informed him that her mother had slain both men. Baker reminded Luna that the accusation was serious and he wondered how she could be so certain. Luna claimed Poppy had confessed to her. Baker was perplexed because Luna had previously defended her mother so vigorously. Luna stated that she did not want her mother to be in prison, but Poppy had killed Tom to conceal Luna's paternity. She claimed that when Hollis confronted her, Poppy killed him too. Baker noticed that it was consistent with previous facts and he asked Luna to prepare a statement. Luna was hesitant, afraid it might jeopardize her connection with her mother, but she eventually agreed, claiming that speaking the truth about Poppy was the proper thing to do.
Stephy had removed her jacket in The Condemned apartment, sweating profusely. She shouted for help and wondered where Finn was. Stephy sobbed, pleading with someone to help her. When she heard noises, she began yelling again. Luna appeared with a smoothie, reminding Stephy that she had previously stated that no one could hear her. Luna revealed that her flat was the only one still occupied in the building. Luna hinted at her ambitions, unsure whether she'd have time to remove the unneeded items. Stephy inquired as to what Luna planned to do with her. Stephy tried to urge Luna to turn herself in for mercy, but she insisted she would never be caught. Luna gloated at having sealed her mother's fate. She claimed Baker coerced her into confessing about Poppy's role in the murders. She lied about having made a statement, claiming that circumstances were grim for both Poppy and Stephy. Luna thought she had covered all her bases, except for Stephy.
Luna clarified that it was not personal; she adored Stephy as an excellent supervisor and role model, but she couldn't let her interfere with the life Luna deserved. Stephy begged Luna to consider her cousin and his children. Luna answered coldly, saying Stephy would never see them again. How dare you say that! Stephy screamed as Luna opened the door to go. Stephy yelled that Luna would not get away with it.
Liam’s foreshadowing and Hope’s diagnosis explained Finn's obsession. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Hope Logan, Anuka Noel, has been acting out of character for months. Brooke Logan, Katherine Kelly Lang, and Liam Spencer, Scott Clifton, agree that Hope kissing John Finn Finnegan, Tanner Novlan, is out of character. Liam even mentioned that Hope is a very methodical person. That seems like foreshadowing to us, so let's discuss which diagnosis would explain Hope's Finn infatuation.
