Julie Chen Moonves Reveals Which Big Brother 26 Houseguests Are “Biggest Threats” After Tucker’s Stunning Eviction

After Big Brother season 26 competition beast and wild card Tucker Des Lauriers' stunning eviction, host Julie Chen Moonves shared who she believes are now the game's biggest threats. Tucker had originally volunteered to be a pawn for Big Brother season 26 week 6 Head of Household (HOH) T'kor Clottey. However, after winning one HOH, three Powers of Veto, and two BB A.I. Arena competitions, Tucker came up short, and the majority of his fellow houseguests couldn't resist evicting him. He was arguably the biggest threat in the game.

"Who knows… expect the unexpected!"

In an interview with EWJulie said that what makes Big Brother 26 so good is that the biggest threats are "anyone's guess." She then considered, "Cam [Sullivan-Brown] because now he’s starting to win things and is athletic? Makensy [Manbeck] because she’s on her way to becoming a comp beast as well." Julie added that Angela Murray has been HOH twice and "is also unpredictable." As for Chelsie Baham, the host added, "You heard what Tucker said…she was the mastermind behind the other side of the house, while Brooklyn [Rivera] was the voice. Who knows…expect the unexpected!"

Julie Thinks T'kor Shares Some Responsibility

Although Tucker volunteered as a pawn for HOH T'kor, Julie shared that she thought that he was "only partly" responsible for his eviction. She said that T'kor played a big role in it because she nominated the strongest competitor in her alliance when she put Tucker on the chopping block. Julie explained that, by causing Tucker's eviction, T'kor lost a number for her side and a competition beast who would've fought for her. She added that T'kor seemed to do all of that because she didn't want to get blood on her hands.

As Big Brother 26 moves forward without Tucker, new threats will now emerge. Julie's right that Cam, Makensy, Angela, and Chelsie are all threats in their own ways. However, Quinn Martin has also been unpredictable and diabolical throughout the season so far as well. Quieter houseguests such as Joseph Rodriguez and Leah Peters could also become more dangerous as the game progresses because they're playing under the radar and could make it to the end. It'll be interesting to see who the houseguests think is the biggest target moving forward and if they're able to evict them before jury.

Julie's also correct that, although Tucker volunteered to be a pawn for T'kor, she bears some responsibility for his eviction because, as Tucker himself said, she didn't have to nominate him. There were plenty of people outside of their Sixth Avenue alliance whom she could've put on the chopping block. The fact that two of T'kor's alliance members, Tucker and Angela, were on the block at the end of the week was a mistake on her part. Unfortunately, Tucker paid the price and was a victim of Big Brother's motto, "Expect the unexpected."

Big Brother season 26 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT and Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
