We're only a month away from S.W.A.T. airing season 7, and Shemar Moore seems ecstatic to show fans what he's been up to on set.
As fans gear up for the final installment of episodes to premiere starting February 16, the Criminal Minds alum decided to give his followers a sneak peek at what the final days of S.W.A.T. look like behind the scenes. Posting a video montage on Instagram on January 16, Shemar took fans along as he traveled to Mexico (where the first episode of season 7 takes place), and got into Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson mode to film scenes for the CBS drama.
"When you ask how Season 7 of @swatcbs is going 💥💣🔥," he captioned the clip. "Who’s ready?!? #bts #rollswat."
When fans saw that the actor gave them clues about what's to come for S.W.A.T., they immediately bombarded him in the comments with words of excitement.
"I’m ready been ready. Can’t wait 🥰," one person wrote on Instagram. "@shemarfmoore Hell yeah 🔥 Let's Gooooo 🔥 Everyone Ready 🔥 I am LOCKED 🔒 and LOADED and all buckled up for my WILD ride 🔥🙌❤️," another declared. "I’m Ready and Can’t Wait!!! Longtime viewers may remember that S.W.A.T. initially got axed by CBS in May 2023 after six seasons. But soon after, the network reneged on the decision and chose to continue the show for 13 episodes with a season 7.
As for what fans can expect from the new season, a press release from January 4 gave folks an insight into what the first episode may look like.
According to the report, the premiere installment is called "The Promise," and will see Hondo and his team travel to Mexico to help bring a fugitive back to the United States. But as Hondo lands in the foreign country, he also has to help save a witness who has mysterious ties to the case he's already working.
Sounds like we're all in for quite a ride for a send-off!
