SEAL Team is returning for a seventh season and we’re taking a look at all the info we know so far!
The Paramount+ series originally aired on CBS before making the jump to the streamer after season four.
Just ahead of filming on season seven, it was announced that the new season would be its last.
SEAL Team follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions our country can ask of them.
Filming on the show wrapped in Colombia in early May, and a few weeks later, one of the stars teased on social media, “The bogeyman is coming and it’s gonna be a ride folks…soon! Season 7″
Ahead of the series’ upcoming final season, which is set to debut later this year, we’re taking a look at all of the cast who will be returning, who is not coming back and who will be new to the cast for the final episodes.
David Boreanaz – RETURNING
David Boreanaz will be back as Jason Hayes for the show’s final season. He’s also an executive producer.
“For six seasons I have been fortunate and blessed to be a part of an outstanding cast and crew,” David shared in a statement. “Every day spent was a note of thanks to our men and women in the military and Special OPS. I thank our fans, and I’m proud we were able to make this show to shine light in the darkness toward so many suffering today. I look forward to season seven and the opportunity to end this series with love and gratitude.”

Judd Lormand – LIKELY RETURNING
Judd Lormand will seemingly reprise his role of Eric Blackburn. The actor celebrated the news of the show’s seventh season in early 2023.
Jessica Paré – LIKELY RETURNING
Jessica Paré is expected to return as Amanda “Mandy” Ellis for the show’s final season.
Max Thieriot – NOT RETURNING
Max Thieriot will not be reprising his role of Clay Spenser, as the character died in season six while trying to help a veteran from killing himself.
While talking about the possibility of appearing in the final season, Max was not optimistic.
“I would’ve loved to have gone and done that, but I think they’re preparing to film the rest of their season right now, and I know they’re going to Colombia,” he told TV Insider in April. “So I don’t think, as far as I’m aware of, unfortunately there’s not any plan for that, unless they call me at the last minute.”
Max can currently be seen in season two of his show Fire Country, which airs on CBS.
Dylan Walsh – NEW TO THE CAST
According to Deadline, Dylan Walsh joins the cast in a major recurring role. He will portray Captain Walch – “Recently appointed Commanding Officer of DEVGRU, Captain Walch is by the book but also politically-minded and may be clouded by his ambitions as he decides what to do with Bravo Team.”
If you didn’t know, Dylan will also be seen in the final season of another TV show that is ending in 2024.
Beau Knapp – NEW TO THE CAST
Deadline reports that Beau Knapp is joining SEAL Team as a new series regular.
He will be playing “Drew Franklin, a Chief Petty Officer with a checkered history at Command whose placement on Bravo Team is a sign of their problem-child status in the eyes of the DEVGRU powers that be. A smooth talker who exploits every angle to his own advantage, Drew revels in the mystery and rumors that surround him.”
