After Scandoval tore its way through the Vanderpump Rules fandom, Raquel Leviss is having a hard time dealing with multiple death threats aimed at her family, even reaching out to the FBI for help. Tom Sandoval and Raquel are the most hated couple on reality TV as of late, thanks to their affair. Once the scandal broke wide open, the Vanderpump Rules cast members had to deal with the fallout, though it's unlikely that they thought they would receive threats.
According to TMZ, the family of Vanderpump Rules' Raquel Leviss decided to reach out to the FBI in the hopes of tracking down the trolls who are leaving death threats for their daughter. Raquel hasn't been heard from since the affair broke, and now she and her family are frightened after inappropriate comments were directed at the former model. The threats have been coming from online and on the phone. The social media threats have also been violent in nature.
FBI Can't Confirm Or Deny Vanderpump Rules Investigation
Raquel's family has taken the verbal attacks seriously as they find them very disturbing. A spokesperson for the FBI told the TMZ that the agency neither "confirms nor denies investigations." The FBI went on to say that they take all allegations reported to the agency seriously and urge the family to call 911 if they feel they are in mortal danger. Bravo has also spoken out against the threats, calling them "appalling" and ending with telling viewers the network condemns this type of behavior.
Shortly after the news of Scandoval broke in March, the Vanderpump Rules star checked herself into a mental health treatment center to work on herself. Sandoval's former partner hasn't been seen out in public for weeks and hasn't even been able to share her side during the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion as part one didn't include her due to the restraining order she had against Scheana Shay.
Both Sandoval and Raquel were blasted by their Vanderpump Rules cast members, with the TomTom owner taking the brunt of the criticism at the reunion. His business partners Lisa Vanderpump and Tom Schwartz were the only people showing any support. Ariana Madix could hardly contain her hatred for her ex-boyfriend as she often cursed him out. Raquel was sitting off-screen in her own separate trailer, with the cameras flashing back to her reactions to Tom and Ariana's responses. Part two of the reunion will finally show Raquel's side of the story, but it is doubtful her truth will fix the mess she is currently in.
Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
