Hey big brother fans, so the veto meeting just happened in the BB26 house, and Cam used his golden Power of Veto. Now we know who Tor renamed in his place after an insane Sunday and pre-meeting Monday in the house. There is so much drama and backstabbing going on, it's too much to put in here. I've got another video coming in an hour or so; I'm going to break it all down because it's just too much and too good to cram it into this one about the veto meeting. So, you guys know Tor nominated Tucker because he volunteered, Cam just because, you know, future, and McKenzie, who is a definite target because she was so close to Brooklyn, who was just sent packing. Plus, McKenzie is not part of 6th Avenue, and guess what? That alliance blew up hard over the weekend thanks to McKenzie. That'll be part of our next video.
There are so many moving parts to get into. I'm excited. Joseph and Angela also played in the Power of Veto competition, with Joseph being Cam's houseguest pick. Despite Tucker being such a comp beast, Cam won the punishment and prizes comp. Tucker even took a unitard punishment on behalf of Tor and instead let her have a $5,000 prize. While Tucker is stuck in a skintight outfit looking up facts in the Britannica Encyclopedia set as a backup for Ansley. Surely, by now you've watched Sunday's episode showing Tor won HOH. That episode also confirmed what I suspected: Tucker is indeed the AI instigator. He outed his showmance with Rabina, hoping for them to be more comfortable in public, but then she had that meltdown, and Tucker had to talk her down. And that's the least dramatic thing that has happened in the past few days.
Meanwhile, most people in the house think it's Angela doing the instigating. She was doing some real instigating over the weekend, not so much instigating as getting played into instigating. Once Cam won the veto, he made it clear he was going to use his POV to take himself off the block. That happened on Saturday after the comp, and he made it very clear. Angela was then stuck with a 9-hour endurance punishment in the yard, which kept her out of game talk. It also gave McKenzie a chance to get closer to Angela by being all supportive. Angela has since vowed to protect McKenzie and not vote to evict her if she doesn't win AI Arena. Of course, that was before everything flipped around.
Quen and Joseph were lobbying very hard to keep Leah from being the renom. Rabina even volunteered to be the renom, and that is so dumb from a historical Big Brother perspective. If a showmance is on the block together, you definitely want to send one of them home and break up that power pair, am I right? The whole thing is like Rabina is just brand new. Essentially, the debate came down to Angela versus Leah as the renom. Meanwhile, Leah got a gaggle of simps doing her bidding in the BB26 house. She went upstairs and was telling Tor to renom Quen. Holy cow, so many people have told him Leah doesn't give two shakes about him, but Quen just can't believe it. I so hope he watches this season with a box of Kleenex and a big glass of red wine because he's going to be crushed.
Meanwhile, Joseph's punishment sent him into lockdown for 24 hours, and he was set free right before the veto meeting. He had pushed Quen to keep lobbying to protect Leah and throw Angela under the bus while he was away. Boy, did Quen take those orders seriously. Here's what's nuts, and the topic of our next video: Angela is turning on Tucker because she has, but was set up thoroughly. Angela had no idea that the renom names being debated were her versus Leah. Angela went upstairs bawling to Tor to ask her to please, please not renom Leah, and that, of course, meant Angela was essentially lobbying for herself to go on the chopping block. She didn't know it, and Tor also was not very happy to endure a tear-stained tirade from Angela about how she wanted to stay in the game.
By the way, Tucker found out Angela was gunning for him, but still wasn't ready to let go of his surrogate mom yet. He was also pushing Tor to renom Leah instead of Angela, even knowing she was coming for him. Angela talked to Tor about the renom before the veto meeting. Angela did say she understands Tor's head of household and says whatever she has to do, she gets it, even if it means, you know, Angela going on the block after Cam uses his golden Power of Veto.
The live feeds went down today and came up around 1:00 p.m. Big Brother time with the veto meeting results revealed. Tor renominated, wait for it—Angela. Tucker did confront Angela, more about that in the next video. He told her she was going to be on the block and that he was going to win the AI Arena. He told a very tearful Angela she was going to be the one home and did this to herself by turning on him because Tucker has protected her at every turn. He said all that while laying into her, and it's true.
The feeds came back, and there was a lot of post-meeting chatter. Leah told Rabina, Tucker, and Tor that she knew she was at risk for the renom but said she isn't ashamed of any of her gameplay. She said the whole thing about Tucker was misconstrued. Leah wasn't the ring leader in going after Tucker. Check out our other video. Despite her not being on the block, Leah, Tor, and Kimo seem to be onto her game. They have taken careful note of Leah's defenders protecting her at all costs while she's throwing shade at Quen, who is a very close ally of Tor and Kimo. Even though Sixth Avenue fell apart, they are very committed to the Visionary. Tor and Kimo, no matter what, are sticking close to Quen.
So, the fallout from all this: Tucker, McKenzie, and Angela are on the block heading into Thursday night. Tucker is a comp beast with two past AI Arena wins, three Power of Veto wins, and one HOH win. Angela has got two comps under her belt, and McKenzie has a single AI Arena win on her resume. If I have to predict, I would say Angela is the long shot to win the AI Arena unless it’s real estate-themed. If it is McKenzie versus Angela on the block Thursday after Tucker wins Arena, I think McKenzie may still go home despite her scheming. If it’s Tucker versus McKenzie, I don’t think the houseguests have the stones to evict him.
I personally feel like McKenzie’s only path to avoid a face-to-face convo with Julie Chen Thursday is if she wins the arena. If McKenzie does win and it’s Tucker versus Angela as the final two nominees, I think the houseguests are going to grab that low-hanging fruit and gobble it up like manna from heaven and keep Tucker in the house. The biggest threat by a mile. Maybe Brooklyn was right about all of them, because Tor literally said Monday she'd be okay with Tucker winning, and Kimo agreed. Are they legit playing for second, third, and fourth? I mean, holy crap balls, Batman, why don’t they all just self-evict at this point and hand Tucker the $750K and probably another $50K for AFP and whatever else they give him for this instigator stuff, which so far hasn’t been that impressive.
Alright, that’s it. Tucker, Angela, and McKenzie are heading into the arena Thursday night. This is going to be a really messy week because there are hurt feelings, fallouts, and plots afoot. Check back for our other video, coming soon. It will explain who pitted Angela and Tucker against each other and blew up the house, and how battle lines are being drawn in Big Brother right now.
