Who Won Power of Veto and Will HE Use It on Big Brother? #bb26 #bigbrother

Hey BB fans, it is week six, and Tor is running the house. Today, the Power of Veto was up for grabs. We've got the POV winner to reveal and some insights into the comp prizes and punishments. We'll also look at whether the POV will be used and, if so, who the replacement nominee will be—there's some controversy around that.

You probably already know Cam, McKenzie, and Tucker are the three initial nominees Tor made Friday night. Tucker is on the block only because he volunteered to go up; he made the offer and then tried to backtrack. Joseph pressured Tor to adopt a no-takebacks approach and insisted that Tucker’s offer be honored, so the HOH and her three nominees were all set to play. Cam drew house guest choice and selected Joseph, maybe hoping he would be easy to beat. Also playing in the comp was Angela—I believe she was a direct draw and not a house guest choice, but we’ll find out more on Wednesday's episode.

It was a classic prizes and punishment comp. Joseph was really hoping he or Tor would win to avoid playing the veto, as he is trying so hard to keep his crush Leah off the chopping block. If Angela had won, no doubt she'd use it on Tucker. Rabina offering to go up as renom seems insane, especially if Tucker had won, since it’d be a tough choice on whether he'd use the veto to save himself or not play it to protect her from going on the block.

Some interesting info about the week six veto comp: Joseph has now played in every single veto comp in BB26 and has lost them all, as he did again today under Tor's HOH. I wonder if Joseph is sandbagging or just legit losing comps. Tucker lost the veto comp and got the cyborg punishment, so he’s going to spend several days in a soon-to-be-smelly unitard. Many past season house guests who got similar punishments reported that they only get one of those unitards and can't take them off to wash, so they get rank. Yummy. Wonder if that will put a damper on the showmance thing with Rabina.

Angela also lost and earned herself a punishment; she has to do some yet-to-be-determined backyard cleanup, but as a mom, that shouldn’t phase her. Guess who else got a punishment? Joseph—he has 24 hours of solitary confinement up in the Have-Not room. McKenzie got a reward in the comp; though she didn't win POV and cannot escape the block on Wednesday night, she did score a trip to Hawaii. Maybe she’ll take her soulmate, you know, her brother, if you didn’t already know McKenzie said her brother was her soulmate. Tor also did not win the Golden Power of Veto but scored herself a cool $5,000 cash prize.

That leaves one person playing: Cam. Believe it or not, he woke up, realized he was on the block again, and participated in the comp. He did so well he won. Someone on Twitter joked that Cam winning POV upgrades him from furniture to kitchen utensils, so yay Cam, the human spatula, for winning the Golden Power of Veto. Maybe he can flip things now, but I doubt it.

Joseph is in lockdown and desperate to keep Leah off the block but is in timeout until Sunday night. The veto meeting isn’t until Monday, giving him a bit of time once he’s out. There was some misleading info on BB Twitter, claiming Joseph told Quen he’s the AI instigator. Instead, Joseph and Quen were discussing a new plan to put Angela up as the renom instead of Leah. Joseph asked Quen to push the narrative that Angela should be the renom—not that she’s the instigator.

Assuming Cam uses the veto at Monday's meeting, this will set a Big Brother record for six weeks in a row where the veto was used every time. Rabina volunteering as renom doesn’t seem likely anymore. Leah as the renom is possible, but Joseph and Tucker are pushing Angela’s name. McKenzie remains the house target, but with Tucker as a strong competitor, either Leah or Angela will likely be the replacement nominee. We’ll know more from the live feeds overnight.

There was some discussion among the fandom about Leah possibly upsetting Chelsea, reportedly with a racist comment, but recent interactions between Leah and Chelsea suggest otherwise. Production explaining away feed downtime led to more speculation, but the exact reasons remain unclear.

Cam finally did something significant, winning the Golden Power of Veto. He should use it at Monday’s veto meeting, forcing Tor to make a renom. Hopefully, the HOH will figure out that Joseph has a very personal agenda for pushing Angela’s name around the house. Stay tuned for more live feeds insights and BB26 talk.
